on energetic exchange
you can only take if you are prepared to give, and giving is not an investment. It is not a day at the bargain counter. it is a total risk of everything…

on energetic exchange
my work requires that i give all my energies—physical, emotional, ancestral, intellectual, and spiritual. i base the energetic exchanges amounts for my offerings on what my work as an artist/teacher/healer requires of me. i engage others, i give practice generosity- the giving candidly and openly of what i have to give.
just like mutual aid, skill sharing, and gifting, the energetic exchange of my work, my labor, requires generosity of the seen and unseen resources- mine and, when you engage with me and my work, yours. i’m interested in sustainable, fair ways of energetic exchange that give and receive from the ethic that there is more than enough for everyone to be resourced, free, and curious without any exceptions.
i work as an interdependent artist, teacher and healer. i work interdependently alone and on teams on projects that align with my values and when i’m invited to collaborate. any and all of the support i receive for my offering is what keeps me and my work going. and financial support is important— it allows me to pay for the structures and material things that sustain and support me and my work.
my work and i are inextricably linked; as a liberation practitioner, what i offer flows through me physically, emotionally, and spiritually. the support i receive makes my healing possible for those i work with.
when i am in energetic exchange i am engaging the following frameworks money as medicine, generosity economy and mutual aid. there is a requirement for this type of energetic exchange: trust- trust that that we can all have what we need and that there more than enough for all of those needs to be met
