on energetic exchange

you can only take if you are prepared to give, and giving is not an investment. It is not a day at the bargain counter. it is a total risk of everything…

on energetic exchange‍ ‍

my work requires that i give all of my energies: physical, emotional, ancestral, intellectual, and spiritual. i base the energetic-exchange amounts for my offerings on what my work as an artist, teacher, and healer requires of me. i reciprocally engage others and practice generosity: giving and receiving candidly and openly of what i have to offer.

just like mutual aid, skill sharing, and gifting economies, the energetic exchange of my labor relies upon the generosity of seen and unseen resources: both my own and those that support me as well as yours when you engage with me and my work, your own. i am interested in sustainable, fair, honest means of energetic exchange that give and receive from the ethic that there is more than enough for everyone to be resourced, free, and curious—without exception.

i work interdependently, whether alone or as part of a team, when invited to collaborate, on projects that align with my values. any and all of the support i receive for my offerings is what sustains me and my work. all of the financial support i receive is important as allows me to pay for the resources and material things.

my work and i are inextricably linked: as a liberation practitioner, what i offer flows through me physically, emotionally, and spiritually. the support i receive makes the healing I offer possible for those with whom i work.

when i am participating in an energetic exchange, i am engaging with three key frameworks: money as medicine, generosity economy, and mutual aid. the requirement for this type of energetic exchange is TRUST: that we can all have what we need, and there will be more than enough for all of those needs to be met.

the amounts for my offerings online are based on my honoring of my own expanding and deepening energetic sensitivities and the value my offerings require- rest and preparation time. the amounts are also based on my training, skills, and experience in my offerings. the invitations for an amount that you can generously offer is for you to name an amount that you can afford to pay for my offering based on the financial resources you have and can give with a quality of generosity.
